Why am i allergic to silver but not Gold Trumpet mouthpieces?

my mouth was red and rashy and skin peeling off after a while when i used the silver mouthpiece and now that i use a gold one it's normal and not anything bad has happened
is there possible special mouthpieces that i can get that look silver?

gold amd silver are different so you can be allergic to one and not the other
